My name is Chris Rippey. I am a third-generation arborist who lives in Kent, Washington. I began my career in arboriculture at 16 when I started working with my Dad at his company. My career has included working for fourteen years as an Arborist at Stanford University, operating my own tree care company and working as an Arborist for Seattle Parks. I have also spent many hours volunteering for tree organizations including being a five-time participant in the Britton Fund Ride which raises money for tree research. I am also the co-creator of the Pacific Northwest Tree Failure Database and the current Secretary of the Pacific Northwest chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
I was the Pacific North West chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), Arborist of the Year in 2019. My professional credentials include being an American Society of Consulting Arborist (ASCA), Registered Consulting Arborist (#633). I am ASCA Tree and Plant Appraisal Qualified . I have been an ISA, Certified Arborist (7672-AUTM) for over ten years. I am also an ISA Municipal Specialist, Utility Specialist, Certified Tree Worker, and have had an ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification for over 6 years.
As a family man, I hold trust and responsibility very high on my list of personal virtues. I will treat you fairly and be as responsive as I can be. My wife, Adrienne and my son, Colton will always come first but your investment in me will be held as a priority.
I know trees and tree work better then most. I have a great network of mentors and peers in and out the the area which I can reach out to for help. I am a diligent, honest worker, and will take the job you have hired me for as serious as I take my cycling career which includes winning a Californina State Championship in 2013.
